The journey of 4SOak began as a woodworking hobby. Soon, I realized, my passion for woodworking, bit of creativity and craftsmanship started to produce something tangible. I was inspired by the talented design and craftsmanship of other woodworkers and was trying to craft hardwood with unique, minimalistic and functional designs which not only serves a purpose but also tells a story that we all can relate to. With no prior exposure or experience to woodworking, my passion started to translate into high-quality wood products, from furniture and home decor to custom gifts. Then I stumbled upon this idea of creating www.foursoak.com to showcase my work and provide me a sustainable way to express my creativity and craftsmanship by creating a market for it. Blue Lagoon
The design of this console table is inspired by the hydrology of a Lagoon. A lagoon is a shallow body of water connected to a large body of water often Ocean but separated from the open marine conditions by a barrier.
Landscape Seen from Space
This wall decor design is inspired by the phenological changes a landscape experience during summer and winter seasons which are captured in Earth Observing satellite images and seen through false color composite.
Arachnid
This coffee table is designed after the body structure of arachnids focusing on reduced elements in the table to carry the load with minimal joinery. The set includes two twenty four inches round end tables.
